Crafted from High Carbon 5Cr15MoV Stainless Steel. To boost its sturdiness, the steel contains 0.45 - 0.5 carbon. This gives the blade improved tensile strength, edge retention and overall resistance to wear.

It is a great knife. It really works for me, easy handling and sharp to chop my fish and meat. The blade is very sturdy to cut almost anything. As I am a chef, I use many knives for many purposes, this is indeed a good knife for the bone.
I love this knife! It has a nice heft to it and feels great in my hand. It is super sharp and slices through meat like butter. It also has increased my speed in separating chicken wings. My old knife took forever but this one makes the process so easy.
This knife is wonderful. It is nice and heavy to help cut through the thicker meat and the end is tapered perfectly for cleaning and trimming meat. Got this knife just to try it out. I work in a kitchen and thought that would be a good testing ground. We loved it so much that the owner bought us more. The grip is comfortable and the slight curve of the blade makes it ideal for chopping veggies. It has a comfortable weight that allows it to do a lot of the work for you without wearing you out. It keeps an edge on the blade surprisingly well, better than most the knives in the kitchen. It's become our knife of choice for most situations.

I really like this knife. It's sharp and light, very easy to use. The angles I use to cut the meat are smooth, almost like cutting through butter.
Love this blade. The position of the handle helps top transfer power better than traditional cleaver. Bought for my wife and she can now cut melons and squash in half whereas she could not before using other blades. Also was very sharp upon arrival. Would highly recommend.
This has become the only knife I use in my kitchen these days and the edge is holding up remarkably well. I use it on everything from apples and carrots to squash and melons. This knife was way more than I expected. When you see something that inexpensive you have to wonder if it’s good quality, well this knife is. It came right out of the box razor sharp, the blade is really good quality, and handle is tightly secured and well-made. This will be a great outdoor knife.
I'm an amateur cook and ordered this knife as my camping chef knife. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but was pretty surprised at how well this is made. Comes razor sharp out of the box - will see how long it keeps its edge but I have not noticed any problems the last few weeks. The weight and ergonomics feel great in my hand, and I was able to butterfly a leg of lamb and chop veggies with ease. It looks cool, worked great for my needs and will be a trusted friend on our upcoming adventures.
This knife is stronger than a boar tusk or some such ridiculously tough item. It came out of the box sharper than several other fancier knives purchased for far more money. Granted its shape does not allow it to be used for absolutely everything as it is extremely thick. All in all I love this knife and all my roommates love it too.
For the price I was worried how good the quality would be. It is actually very nice. Wood handle is great. Blade is very shape. Works great as a boning knife. I have used it for that and no issues so far.
